GDS is developing systems to meet both your private network and field-deployable systems needs. For private networks, we can customize PC-based nodes that are optimized for the application, i.e., a medical network may require barcode readers, and scanners that can injest X-ray films. For more environmentally hostile environments, a system may need to be ruggedized, include backup power and power conditioning, as well as its own communications link. Both of the above systems have been developed and are being deployed by GDS.
