Ernest A. Carroll Our President and CEO, Mr. Carroll, has over 30 years of experience in the imagery/ photogrammetric sciences and is an expert in the application of imagery to intelligence and environmental monitoring problems. He is the author of several algorithms adopted by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for combining high-resolution spatial imagery with commercial multi-spectral imagery to produce high-resolution spatial land cover. He founded GeoData Systems, Inc. in the belief that the evolution of commercial imaging satellites, airborne sensors, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles offers a unique opportunity to expand to both government and commercial sectors use of imagery and imagery derived products. Under his guidance, GeoData Systems has received over 13 patents with more than a dozen currently under development. His management credentials include having authored and taught courses on the topics of project/program and quality management at several Fortune 500 firms, including GE, GTE, Tektronics, AT&T and Texaco. Also, Mr.Carroll has served on the board of directors of several companies including: Planning and Decision Sciences (1984-1989), an operations research and training company, and Observera, Inc. (1995-1997), a precision photogrammetry company.
